Garza Marfa’s Khadi desert shawls are hand-spun, hand-woven cloths from India through fair trade co-ops, composed of three ply linen yarn. The linen is first spun into yarn on a charkha, a spinning wheel, and then hand-dyed exclusively for Garza Marfa.

Khadi has long been known for its ability to keep the wearer warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The inherent variances of the fabric reflect the beauty of the involved, handwoven Khadi process.
